Delete your LifeShare account

LifeShare by Lifeshare Global Inc.

You can delete your LifeShare account and its data at any time, in the app or on this page. You don’t need the app installed to use this page.

In the app

1. Open LifeShare and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete account at the bottom.
3. Tap Email me a code, then enter the 6-digit code we email you and tap Delete my account.

On this page

Enter the email address of your LifeShare account. We’ll email it a 6-digit code; enter the code to delete the account.

What we delete

As soon as you confirm, we sign you out on every device and delete:

• your profile: name, channel name, email, phone number, location, bio and profile photo;
• your posts, with their photos and videos, and the comments and likes on them;
• your comments and likes on other people’s posts;
• your chats: every conversation you were in, with its messages, reactions and files;
• your live broadcasts, their viewers and live chat, and any saved recordings;
• your friends, friend requests, blocks, invitations and notifications;
• your subscription records and your device’s notification token.

What we keep, and for how long

• Reports: reports you made, or that others made about you, are kept to keep LifeShare safe.
• Backups: copies in our database backups are removed within 90 days.
• A short record that the account was deleted, with no profile details, is removed within 30 days.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription you bought in Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it there first: in Google Play, open Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; on iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
