Child safety standards
Last updated October 11, 2026
These are the child safety standards of Lifeshare Global Inc. (“LifeShare”, “we”, “us” or “our”) for the LifeShare mobile app for Android and iOS (the “App”). LifeShare lets people broadcast their phone screen live to friends they choose or to everyone, chat, keep a profile and invite others. These standards apply to everything in the App: live broadcasts, saved broadcasts, live chat, direct messages, posts, comments, profiles and invitations.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
LifeShare has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We remove it, close the accounts involved and report it to the authorities as the law requires.
Who can use LifeShare
LifeShare is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account or use the App, as our terms and conditions say. Everyone confirms they are 18 or older when they sign up, and accepts those terms before using the App. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we close it and delete their information, except what we must keep to act on a safety report or as the law requires, as described in our privacy policy. If you believe a child is using LifeShare, tell us at info@lifesharemobileapp.com.
What is prohibited
On LifeShare, you may not:
- create, share, broadcast, save, request or link to sexual content involving anyone under 18, including drawn, edited or computer-generated content;
- groom a minor, or try to build trust with a minor in order to sexually abuse or exploit them;
- sexualize a minor, including sexual comments about a minor or content that presents a minor in a sexual way;
- threaten or pressure anyone to share sexual images of a minor, or use such images to extort them (sextortion);
- contact, or try to meet, a minor for sexual purposes;
- traffic or advertise a minor for sexual purposes;
- use LifeShare to find, share or trade any of the above, or to help anyone else do so.
Because LifeShare broadcasts your screen, this includes anything shown on your screen while you broadcast.
How to report
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency number first.
In the App
- Report a broadcast or its broadcaster: while you watch a live broadcast, tap the flag icon in the chat panel and choose what to report.
- Report a message, post, comment or profile: press and hold the message, post or comment, or open the profile’s menu, and tap Report.
- Choose “Child safety: sexual content involving a minor, or a child at risk” as the reason, add what you saw if you like, and tap Submit. The report goes to the LifeShare team with the content and the account involved, and the person isn’t told who reported them. You can block the person in the same step.
- Protect yourself: you can block someone from a report, or from the App’s Find people screen, and remove someone from your connections. Choose who sees each broadcast when you start it.
By email
If you can’t use the App, or to tell us more, email info@lifesharemobileapp.com with the subject “Child safety”. Include the username of the account involved and what you saw, and when. Please don’t send us copies of sexual images of a child: describe them and tell us where they are in the App, and we will find them.
You can also report child sexual exploitation directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
What we do when we get a report
- Review: we review child safety reports as a priority.
- Remove: we remove content that breaks these standards as soon as we know about it.
- Close accounts: we close the accounts involved. People whose accounts are closed for CSAE may not come back.
- Preserve evidence: we keep the report and the related content and account information for as long as the law requires, so it is available to law enforcement, even if the account is closed.
- Report to NCMEC: when we learn of apparent CSAM on LifeShare, we report it to NCMEC’s CyberTipline, as US law requires (18 U.S.C. § 2258A). NCMEC shares reports with law enforcement in the United States and other countries.
Following the law and working with law enforcement
We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us, including the US law that requires us to report apparent CSAM to NCMEC. We cooperate with law enforcement investigations into child sexual abuse and exploitation, and respond to valid legal requests. Law enforcement can contact us at info@lifesharemobileapp.com.
